Growing up in Northern British Columbia, I am awe inspired by the backyard I live in. Mountains serve as powerful symbols of resilience in my work, standing tall as reminders of the fortitude we all possess. They embody the determination required to venture beyond the familiar and embrace the unknown. Each peak we climb reflects our personal explorations through life’s valleys, demanding resilience while offering the promise of healing and renewal. Through each brushstroke I personally gain a sense of calm and healing through my art. It is reminder that every effort to reclaim our sparkle and pursue our dreams is invaluable. While climbing to the summit, my hope is to connect through colour and embrace the beauty of this unique journey of life.
